Units of measurement |
Lesson 3.
Volume
Liquids are measured in units of volume, for example, liters, deciliters, or milliliters. You can use liters instead of meters in the metric table.
Metric table - volume
We see that 1 liter = 1000 milliliters and that 1 liter = 0,01 hectoliters.
You can use the table to convert between one unit of volume measurement to another..
Example: How many milliliters are 6 liters?
Example: How many liters are 444 deciliters?
Practice this method and try Quiz 3 on Units of measure. Remember to use the Checklist to keep track of your work.
