Units of measurement |
Lesson 2.
Weight
The metric table can also help you when you use the weight units kilogram, gram and milligram. The table below uses grams instead of meters.
Metric table - weight
We see that 1 kg = 10 hg and 1 kg = 1000 g.
You can use the table to convert amounts into other units.
Example: How many grams are 7000 mg?
Example: How many decigrams are 1.3 kg?
1.3 kg = 13000 dg
Practice this method and try Quiz 2 in Units of measure. Remember to use the Checklist to keep track of your work.
