 Equations with brackets

Example 1

	Expand the expression (multiply).
	Expand and collect like terms.
	Divide by the coefficient of x (8).

 divide by 8                 The result is: x = 2                 

Example 2

	Expand the expressions.
	Expand and collect like terms.
	Move unknown values to the right side.
	Divide by the coefficient of x (2).

   divide                 The result is: x = - 4
